About noreetuh:
noreetuh is a casual Hawaiian inspired restaurant in the East Village of New York City that showcases the cuisine of Hawaii, featuring ingredients such as hearts of palm and pineapple and preparations such as poke and kalua pork. The menu has strong ties in Japanese, Korean and Filipino cuisines and is inspired from Chef Chung Chow s influences growing up in Hawaii, living in Japan and traveling extensively in East Asia and the Pacific Rim. noreetuh s menu is complemented by a carefully curated wine list by General Manager Jin Ahn of approximately 200 selections with a strong representation from France. In addition to the wines, there are a number of craft beers and specialty sakes that appear on the list. The restaurant s goal is to create an atmosphere where guests can enjoy artfully crafted food paired with an approachable wine list in an enjoyable and casual environment, thus lending to the name noreetuh, which means playground in Korean.
